The Artist Blaine Robert Davis was born in New York City in 1993. He was exposed to art and creativity from a young age, having trained and been educated in both NYC and NJ. He held a few short-term apprenticeships in the tri-state area before ultimately deciding to study and pursue quantitative finance and work in the investment management industry. He has worked and gained experience internationally in New York, Shanghai, and Paris. He has taken a stark difference in his approach to his art from the quantitative background he had as well as his traditional training using only oils.
You will notice strong abstract as well as pop art and expressionist themes through his many mixed media works. He pushes the boundaries with his work to create very unique depictions of sometimes commonplace subjects.
